Hudson Entertainment which is a publishing arm in North America for Hudson Soft has announced the release of Bomberman Land: Battles, amobile game. This mobile game is made available on all the major BREW and Java-enabled mobile phones.
John Greiner, President and CEO of Hudson Entertainment, explained, “By bringing the Bomberman Land series to mobile phones, we are continuing to expand the fan base of this adventure-oriented series while also introducing some of the franchise’s longtime console supporters to the mobile game market.”
The game Bomberman Land: Battles is an all new adventure game. This mobile game features 32 huge maps which have branching paths. This game will allow the player to begin initially with basic Bomberman.
Then the player will be able to upgrade their character as they make their move towards the themed levels. Once each level is cleared, the player can pick one of three different paths. Paths should be chosen carefully, as each of the 15 unique power-ups is found in a specific path. Use those power-ups wisely to win each of the five enormous boss fights.
Then once the player has defeated each boss, they are unlocked as opponents in VS. Mode. In this mode player’s fight against other Bombermen in classic Bomberman battles.
The gamers who enjoy this mobile game can look forward to Bomberman Land on Nintendo Wii and Sony PSP (PlayStation Portable), and Bomberman Land Touch 2 on Nintendo DS. The shipping of this game will commence from the 29th January, 2008.
