BlackBerry Z10 sold out in India after a major price cut, new stock coming soon

BlackBerry’s strategy of slashing the prices of its gadgets seems to be working here in India as we have heard that the Z10 handset has sold out in the country less than two weeks after it became cheaper. The device is currently unavailable at shopping portals as well as retail channels.

Those who wish to purchase the BlackBerry Z10 while the offer is still on, will have to wait for about a week. The said deal has been introduced to celebrate the occasion of the Canadian company’s tenth anniversary in India and will be valid for the next two months. Under this scheme, the price of the smartphone has been decreased to Rs 17,990. It was launched for Rs 43,990 and had come down to Rs 22,990 during the festive season.

Some retailers like Flipkart haven’t introduced the price cut and they continue to sell it for Rs 25,000. But currently, even there the device is out of stock. The phone that comes drenched in either black or white shades, was the first ever full touchscreen device from BlackBerry to make the most of the BB 10 OS. It has dual cameras as well as a 4.2-inch HD touchscreen and is powered by a dual core processor.

As we said, the BlackBerry Z10 is currently not available in India, but retailers should stock up on it within a week or two.
