It’s been just a few days since RIM and AT&T collaborated to launch the latest Blackberry Torch 9800 which integrates the new Blackberry 6 operating system. Well, this handset is all set to make its debut on Orange UK too.

The phone comes packed with a 35 key full QWERTY backlit slide-out keypad plus a 3.2” touchscreen. It also features a 5MP camera with AF that enables image stabilization, scene modes, geo-tagging and zoom functions. Other than a 4GB internal memory, users can extend the storage capacity up to 32GB as well courtesy microSD card slot.

The device also enables recording of videos in 640 x 480p resolutions and its integrated with the GPS feature that improves navigation. Further, it packs in Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n support and a 3.5mm stereo headset jack as well. With a 1300mAhr rechargeable battery, users can enjoy a talktime of 5.8 hours or 30 hours audio and 6 hours video playback.

Through this device, mobile enthusiasts can access various social networking applications like Bloomberg, ESPN, the Weather Channel, Slacker Radio, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and more. Additionally, they can grab an array of applications from the Blackberry App World as well.

The availability details of the Blackberry Torch 9800 are still under wraps, though the company does say it’s coming soon.
