Twitter now comes to BlackBerry users. Yes, BlackBerry smartphone users may soon be able to access their favorite social networking site, Twitter. RIM has unmasked Twitter app on to all BlackBerry smartphones. It is claimed to be the first effort of the company at attempting a mobile Twitter application.
Users can now receive immediate alerts as soon as the messages come in. One can respond to tweets, re-tweets or even mail in direct messages. A link can be posted from the BlackBerry Browser.
This app enables capturing an image and uploading it on their Twitter account. Users can share their thoughts or enter into a discussion. With this app, one can follow their friends or hunt for popular themes.
Now one has to wait and watch to see how well the Twitter app performs in BlackBerry smartphones. But judging by Twitter’s past records, one could be assured of its success.
