Blackberry Pearl 8130 Verizon Wireless, company with reliable wireless voice and data network, has combined with Research In Motion (RIM), a company in wireless innovation, to announce the availability of the BlackBerry Pearl 8130.

BlackBerry Pearl 8130 is the new smartphone build upon the highly acclaimed and iconic BlackBerry Pearl design with new features and functionality to provide customers with powerful communications, rich multimedia and support for high-speed networks.

The sleek, compact designed BlackBerry Pearl 8130 is available in an exclusive silver color finish. It attains the capability of 2.0 megapixel camera with flash and 5x zoom having the ability to record video. The SureType keyboard technology added to the handset makes typing and dialing fast and easy, including a new word completion capability, easier editing of misspelled words and built-in spell checker.

The additional phone features includes Voice Activated Dialing, 3.5 mm stereo speakerphone and noise and echo cancellation technology for clearer calls.

Wireless broadband (EV-DO) connectivity enables the device for high-speed data transfers for fast Web browsing and downloading large attachments. Now, to open and view e-mail attachments with support for the most popular formats is much easier. The support for streaming video from sites like m.youtube.com (3GPP RTSP streaming protocol over EV-DO) is applicable.

The device avails the externally accessible microSD/SDHC memory card slot for additional storage up to the capacity of 8 GB. Bluetooth of 2.0 supports hands-free headsets and stereo headsets.
