BlackBerry to offer applications for free starting tomorrow

One of the many reasons for Android’s success is its app store and looks like BlackBerry has decided to borrow the idea to revive itself. The Canadian company has announced that it will be offering applications for free or for discounted rates throughout the month of December. The conglomerate has revealed about 25 Days of Gifts 2013 via its official blog.

The scheme starts tomorrow, that is, December 1 and will be valid until Christmas. You are required to have a BlackBerry OS 10-based device to make the most of this. These include Z10, Q10, Q5, Z30 and Porsche Design P’9982. It says that users only need to visit BlackBerry World daily for these 25 days and they can download a select premium application without paying a single penny.
