Roughly 2 months ago, there were speculations about the BlackBerry Curve 9320 reaching out to fans in India and it has now officially landed in the country. Tagging along with RIM’s socially-inclined attributes such as BBM, the handset is fueled by the BlackBerry 7.1 OS.

The phone is touted to offer a decent battery life and 3G connectivity under one roof. Needless to say, it features a QWERTY keypad and a dedicated BBM key. Under the hood, there’s a 1450mAh battery powering all the operations of the smartphone. It is expected to provide approximately 7 hours of talk time and nearly 30 hours of radio or music streaming. Carrying 512MB RAM, the phone features an expansion slot for a 32GB microSD card. As for the screen, it’s a 2.44-inch qVGA display that’s on offer.

“The BlackBerry Curve series is extremely popular and successful in India and we are excited to bring the new BlackBerry Curve 9320 to customers here. This new Curve model is designed to make it incredibly easy for customers to be socially-connected, and we expect it will be especially popular in the youth segment,” shared Sunil Dutt, Managing Director, India at RIM.

The device sports a 3.2MP snapper with flash, the built-in GPS function and video recording capability. Coming to its social-friendly side, it arrives with pre-installed Twitter and Facebook tools. The well known Social Feeds 2.0 utility integrating various SNS platforms stays put along with FM radio for entertainment buffs. The BlackBerry 7 OS brings features like Parental Control, Wi-Fi calling and Mobile Hotspot into the picture.

The BlackBerry Curve 9320 price and release date for India have not been disclosed at present.
