It started off with marble white and pebble blue, moved on to garnet red and finally fans are being treated to the black Samsung Galaxy S3. The South Korean company has still not confirmed its availability, though the handset is already up for pre-order via Mobile Fun in the UK.

The retailer is offering the device in an unlocked version for £499.95, just like the pebble blue variant. As for the white model, it is priced at £10 less than the aforesaid editions. Coming to the specifications, Android Authority notes that there are no particular differences between the white, blue and black variants, though it’s nothing unexpected.

A quad-core Samsung Exynos processor with 1.4GHz clock speeds operates beneath the hood. The smartphone leans on 1GB RAM, while there’s 16GB onboard memory to cater to storage requirements. The phone’s front panel is draped by a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED Plus display.

A 2,100mAh battery juices up the mobile device, while an 8MP snapper is perched on its exterior. The entire show is run by the Ice Cream Sandwich platform, with a word about a Jelly Bean update in place. It has a host of intuitive features to boast of including S Voice, Direct Call and Smart Stay amongst others.

For now, it’s not clear if this particular handset is exclusive to the UK or will be rolled out globally. Till then, prospective users with a passion for the color may not want to give the black Samsung Galaxy S3 a miss. Orders are expected to be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks from now.
