Owners can now log onto their Facebook and Twitter accounts to check combined status updates through this app. Information about the latest movies, show timings, restaurants and more can be acquired by simply typing in their name. According to the Bing community blog, the shopping section allows users to hunt for products with their prices and availability.

Additionally, the Bing app integrates a visual scanning capability which scans barcodes and cover art to flash related information on the screens. With the phone’s camera, owners can scan the barcode of a product, namely CDs, DVDs, books, games and more. Users can learn about the prices, reviews and websites of the products.
