The new Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet release date and price information is up for consideration, according to the latest from the company. And now it’s time for the Amazon Fire to watch its back.
The Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet is incorporated with a 1GHz dual core processor, which is accompanied by 1GB of RAM. The 7-inch touchscreen is adorned with VividView Color display technology plus full IPS lamination that offers wider viewing angles, while also reducing glare and reflection.
The tablet seems suitable for avid readers, as they would not have to carry a separate eReader in the backpack. The device offers eight font sizes, six font styles, a choice of background colors, and comes pr-loaded with the eleventh edition of the Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary.

The Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet follows the company’s range of gadgets which include the Simple Touch as well as Color, both of which are sheltered under the Nook brand. With this new release, the prices of both these eReading devices have been slashed. The Nook Color can be now picked for $199, while the Nook Simple Touch is being made available for $99.
The Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet price tag reads $249 and it is expected to first appear in the market approximately by November 17. Enthusiasts can reserve their device as B&N is accepting pre-orders already.
