The iPhone has been graced with innumerous apps, ranging from hospitality to travel. Now, BancorpSouth launches, the Mobile Banking application, for the iPhone. The app enables users to check account balances, pay bills, transfer money and more. BancorpSouth proffers access, convenience and security through its all new Mobile Banking app.
The app bundles up various benefits such as a Consumer Wallet, which amalgams all of BancorpSouth services into a single integrated application. Another benefit is the Bill Pay integration, enabling users to pay off bills while they are away. It provides enhanced security for the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to make sure that the transactions are encrypted and protected. It also provides a Subscriber-only PIN to unlock the user’s mobile device.
“As with previously released mobile banking versions that are available for a wide variety of mobile phones and carriers, BancorpSouth provides clients with a simple way to access account information any time of the day or night, seven days a week. This new service targets many of the bank’s existing clients. It is another example of BancorpSouth’s commitment to providing high-quality services through leading-edge technology. Our goal is to continue to offer our clients what they need in a format that is right for them,” said Michael Lindsey, BancorpSouth Senior Vice President and head of Retail Banking.
The new Mobile Banking App can be downloaded by searching for “BancorpSouth” on the App Store. The company uses its well-known BancorpSouth Gumtree logo for the App button. It has got the label “BXS Bank” underneath the logo, BXS stands for the acronym used by the company for the New York Stock Exchange. Users can also logon to company’s official website for further information.
The BancorpSouth Mobile Banking application is available free of cost from the Apple App store on the iPhone.
