AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company rolls out two iPhone apps

Axa Equitable Logo As a part of ‘The AXA Equitable Connection: Women, Wealth and Wisdom’ initiative, AXA Equitable Life Insurance company recently introduced two iPhone apps that enable easy accessibility to financial calculators, especially for women. It also helps them to keep track of their financial objectives.

The app features retirement income calculator that estimates how much monthly income their retirement savings plan is capable of offering. With the college savings plan calculator, users can determine the monthly savings amount needed to meet their education funding.

“Women are pulled in many different directions and they often do not have the time to focus on managing their money. We launched these applications to help women take control of their finances whenever and wherever they want to,” mentioned Barbara Goodstein, executive vice president and chief innovation officer for AXA Equitable.

“With the Web technology available today, we are always looking for ways to enhance the online experience by providing consumers with the resources, education and tools needed to make more informed financial decisions. The iPhone apps achieve that goal, while also providing a new level of convenience for our customers and prospects alike,” stated Connie O’Brien, senior vice president of Internet Strategy and Development.

The Life Insurance calculator shows the amount of coverage they would need to protect their families. However, the life expectancy calculator estimates the user’s life expectancy, based on current age, smoking habits and other factors. Further, the all-in-one calculator integrates all AXA iPhone apps, thus presenting a singular view of their financial situation.

iPhone users can download the app from the Apple iTunes App Store for free.
