AT&T rolls out the Motorola Karma QA1

Motorola Karma QA1AT&T together with Motorola has introduced a new handset called the Karma QA1. Youngsters can now show off this new phone amongst their friends thanks to better messaging and social networking services. This messaging phone will allow users to express in a better way through text, blog, tweet or talk.

Through this phone, users can be well connected with various features offered. The features include text messaging, instant messaging and also access to social networking sites like Facebook and MySpace. The phone provides icons on the homepage for one-click access to networks. Users can be updated with conversations and stay organized with the IM-style texting with simple scroll navigation. Instant messaging includes Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live.

“Unique visitors to Facebook from AT&T’s MEdia Net portal grew over 100% in 2008. Karma’s one-click access to Facebook and MySpace will resonate with customers who are committed to keeping up with social networking sites on the go,” quoted, Michael Woodward, vice president, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.

Motorola Karma gives consumers ultimate control over their conversations, no matter how they decide to stay in touch.”

It sports a QWERTY keyboard and a high-resolution display. The phone is also compatible with the nation’s fastest 3G network which makes multiple mobile conversations easier. The handset delivers supreme voice quality through CrystalTalk technology. This feature enhances the voice quality and reduces ambience noise.

The 2.0 megapixel camera of the phone allows users to update and share a comment or images and videos. The JuiceCaster service assists in meeting new people, connecting and also sharing content with friends. The 3.5mm headphone jack with the phone provides excellent sound and music quality. The aGPS technology offers the AT&T Navigator for a free 30-day trial.

The Motorola Karma will be offered for a price of $79.99 from June 28, 2009. This price is applicable after a mail-in rebate with a two-year service agreement for wireless voice plans of $39.99 a month or higher and a $20 a month data or messaging plan.
