AT&T Nokia Mural handset revealed

ATnT Nokia Mural AT&T along with Nokia recently announced the ‘youth-oriented’ colorful Mural which would be retailed from September 6, 2009. The flip phone is optimized with fast 3G and HSDPA connectivity.

The Nokia handset supports social networking and facilitates faster downloads and multimedia messaging. Connecting with friends and family is now simplified owing to the built-in IM, email and its large keypad. The Mural packages a 2.2-inch QVGA screen and a 2-megapixel camera.

We are continuing to expand our portfolio in the U.S. with varying price points and features for all consumers,” stated David Petts, Vice President and General Manager, AT&T Account, Nokia.

“Nokia’s latest fold-form mobile phone is an exciting addition to our 3G lineup. With its unique personalization through customizable color lights, this phone will certainly stand out for stylish consumers,” quoted Michael Woodward, Vice President, Mobile Phone Portfolio, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets.

With 16GB of expandable memory, users can store several multimedia files. The handset features external music keys, enabling users to enjoy music without opening the device. The Nokia mobile phone offers up to four hours of talktime on 3G and incorporates popular AT&T services like AT&T Mobile Music, AT&T Navigator and AT&T Video Share. The Mural comes with a range of bright cover colors such as blue, red, green, orange, purple and pink.

The mobile phone can be purchased from AT&T’s online store for USD 49.99 inclusive of a two-year service agreement and after a mail-in rebate.
