AT&T all set to showcase Motorola Olympus at CES next week?

Motorola Olympus Seems like the alleged December or January release date of the Olympus might turn out to be true. IntoMobile has just disclosed that this Motorola handset is scheduled to be announced by AT&T at a press conference during CES next week.

Sure enough, the Consumer Electronics Show has tucked in multiple excitements under its arm. This smartphone supposedly vaunts about a 1GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor for powerful performance. With a large touchscreen, this device is possibly going to come with the Android 2.3 operating system.

Throwing in tough competition will be the LG Star which seemingly features parallel specs. This one sports a 4” display, front-facing camera for video calling, 1080p HD video playback, HDMI output and more. Apparently, the Olympus will include the MotoBlur, while the Star will be a completely untouched Android version. Even if the Motorola handset ships with Froyo, it may still show off an exceptional hardware structure.

From what we deduce, both the Tegra 2-powered devices, the Olympus and the Star, might battle out at CES 2011 for the survival (or shall we say victory) of the fittest.
