Asus ZenFone series of mid-range smartphones coming to India in July

The Asus ZenFone range of smartphones is all set to make its way into India and it will be doing that on July 9, according to company. With this entry, a total of three new Asus devices are expected to find their way into the country’s market, placed in three different price segments.

The ZenFone lineup was unveiled by the company back in January at the CES 2014. These smartphones are out in several markets around the globe, and it’s now their turn to land in India. While Asus has a big presence in the PC sector in this nation, these products should help it establish its brand in the smartphone department as well.

The ZenFone 5 (pictured above) which features a 5-inch 720p HD panel on its front surface, benefits from a 2GHz dual core Intel Atom SoC. It bears an 8MP rear camera and a 2110mAh battery as well. This phone grabs the same amount of RAM as the above mentioned device.

The last one is a 6-inch handset from the range dubbed ZenFone 6 (pictured below) which grabs a 720p HD panel. While its rear camera is of 13MP resolution and its battery is of 3300mAh capacity, its RAM and processor remain the same as those of the 5-inch model.
