Taiwanese brand Asus has launched the Zenbook Flip UX360CA with a 360-degree rotatable hinge for sale in India. The device was announced globally in April. It will be available through retailers and the company’s exclusive stores across the country.
The Zenbook Flip UX360CA is claimed to be the first laptop in the world with a display that can rotate up to 360-degrees. The 13.3-inch QHD+ touchscreen has a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels. Its thickness is measured at 13.9mm, making it one of the thinnest laptops around and it weighs a mere 1.3kg.
The Zenbook Flip can be converted into a tablet. According to Asus, the keyboard and touchpad are locked automatically after switching into this mode. The company claims that the device’s battery can last up to 12 hours on a single charge. It features a 0.5mm heatpipe for cooling instead of the usual fan found in laptops.
8GB LPDDR3 RAM and an Intel Core M processor are paired in the Zenbook Flip UX360CA. An SSD of up to 512GB capacity is present in the device for storage. Buyers can choose between Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro. It has two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a USB Type-C port along with a micro HDMI port and an SD card slot.
