The Asus ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition, which was unveiled by the Taiwanese company at CES 2022 has been officially launched as part of its commemoration of the 25th anniversary of sending its first laptop sent into space. This highly advanced laptop is priced at $1999 and comes with a tiny external display to complement its main monitor.

The Asus ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition will be sold in the US in the form of a Zero-G Titanium color mode via multiple retailers. At the heart of this machine is the 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Asus has blessed the laptop with 32GB worth of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD. Its main display is a 14-inch 2.8K touchscreen OLED panel with HDR support and a 90Hz refresh rate. As for the external display, it’s a 3.5-inch OLED monochrome panel that shows space-themed animations but can be programmed to show notifications, and other information.

A 720p HD webcam can be found hiding in the laptop’s slim bezels that give it a screen-to-body ratio of 92 percent. A 63Wh lithium-polymer battery goes into the new ZenBook 14X OLED Space Edition, which supports a whopping 100W fast charging. All these high-end specs take its weight up to 1.4kgs.

In terms of connectivity, this laptop supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.2. Furthermore, it has been granted two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.0 port, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
