Asus has launched a new range of A series laptops in India, comprised of the A553, A555LA and A555LF. The laptops are meant for everyday use and aimed at entry-level consumers like students and office workers. This is why they carry pretty reasonable tags starting a bit above Rs 23000.
Beginning with the Asus A553, the laptop starts at Rs 23990. It carries a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It’s powered by a quad-core 2.16GHz Intel Pentium N3540 processor. The device packs 4GB of RAM and 500GB of a SATA HDD clocked at 5400rpm. Connectivity options consist of USB 3.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 and HDMI.
Moving on to the A555LA, the gadget’s price begins from Rs 28990. It runs on Windows 10 and sports a 15.6-inch display with the same resolution as the A553. Under the hood, its daily processes are conducted through a Intel Core i5-5200U SoC, coupled with an Intel HD GPU. The unit contains 1TB of internal space and 4GB of RAM.
The A555LF is the most expensive of the lot and will be up for sale starting at Rs 34190. The laptop has similar specs compared with the A555LA, but houses 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GT930 2GB DDR3 Virtual Memory card. The Asus device ships with 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, an HDMI slot, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.

Asus has equipped the A555LF with AudioWizard, which along with SonicMaster technology is supposed to provide users with an enhanced sound output. The laptop also comes with an IceCool feature to ensure the palm rest is below body temperature even after extended use.
All three Asus laptops are offered with two-year warranties. Once again, the A553, A555LA and A555LF start at Rs 23990, Rs 28990 and Rs 34190, respectively.
