The Asus R510JX has been launched in India, the affordable gaming laptop hitting markets here with a Rs 69990 price tag. The Taiwan-based brand hopes to attract entry-level gamers with the new offering, claiming the device will enable them to play high-end games.
Diving into its specs, the Asus R510JX has been equipped with a 15.6-inch full HD antiglare screen which is supposedly resistant to fingerprints and smudges. Its plastic body features a black and red design. On the hardware side, it’s powered by a 4th generation quad-core Intel Core i7 4720HQ processor working in tandem with an Nvidia GTX 950M GPU.
The latter is based on the company’s Maxwell architecture and comes with tools like Nvidia Battery Boost, GPU Boost 2.0, GameStream, Optimus Technology, and GeForce Experience. In terms of memory, the R510JX packs 4GB of expandable RAM and 1TB of SATA hard disk storage. The laptop further runs on Windows 10 and its touchpad supports Smart Gesture inputs.

Asus claims the notebook is slimmer by 5%. It ships with the manufacturer’s SonicMaster and AudioWizard tools powered by ICEpower technology. The gadget additionally offers a chiclet keyboard and IceCool facility to keep the temperature of the palm rests down.
