Asus wants to make its dual SIM Fonepad 7 tablet more alluring to potential buyers as the festive season nears in and it’s doing so with a special offer. The company has announced that it will bundle the device with a free stand that’s worth Rs 1500.
As you probably know, there are multiple versions of the Asus Fonepad 7 on the market, but not all of them are being treated to this special offer. The company has confirmed that the ME175CG-1A007A and 1B010A models are currently entitled to the promo, but there’s still one small problem.
There’s no information on what type of stand Asus will be throwing in for free. After a bit of digging, we came across the TriCover which is the official case for the tablet in question, featuring a folding cover that can be used to position the slate in different angles for multiple purposes, much like the Smart Cover for the iPad.

Asus hasn’t started offering this case in India as yet, but it’s up for grabs through Amazon and other retailers at Rs 980 and up. The Fonepad 7 tablet is powered by an Intel Atom Z2520 dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The tablet offers a WXGA display and it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.

At the time of wiring this post, no online retailer offering the Asus Fonepad 7 made mention of the free stand worth Rs 1500, so we doubt that the offer has already gone live. The slate is currently up for grabs at Rs 10999 and above.
