Asphalt 8: Airborne for Android and iOS on track

The Asphalt 8: Airborne by Gameloft has sped into the Google Play store and iTunes for players who wish to discover what having wings when behind the wheels, feels like. With the eight iteration of this racing title, Gameloft has a lot of promises to make. It begins with highlighting the availability of 47 cars, most of which are new entrants.

Set those wheels on fire while racing across the nine different locations, be it the Nevada Desert or Venice, in cars such as Lamborghini Veneno, Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Zonda R. Tear through the clouds as the title now permits permforming barrel rolls and 360 degree jumps. Apart from 8 seasons including snow as well as rain and 180 events to witness, Asphalt 8: Airborne vouches to offer stunning visuals.

There are options to explore, seeing as each map from the title will also offer alternate routes. Remember the game of tag? Well, the company has introduced it to the digital world, naming the feature ‘Infected’ instead. Staying true to the original rules, players will have to race around and pass on the infection to other cars within 20 seconds, failing which will result into elimination.

Entry of another fresh mode dubbed Drift Gate will have users challenging other players to dash through a number of gates. This reminds us that the game shows off synchronous and asynchronous multiplayer attributes, ensuring competition amongst up to eight friends. Also keep an eye out for a list of licensed music which covers songs from Bloc Party, Crystal Method and Mutemath.

Asynchronous Multi-player Feature

Alongside Android and iOS owners, Asphalt 8: Airborne will soon be available for Windows latest mobile and desktop platforms.
