Ever since the iPhone has released, the handset seems to be the center of pretty much everyone’s attention. The phone was launched on June 26 and in a mere three days, Apple claims the iPhone 4 to have sold over 1.7 million pieces. This success claims to be a new record in the history of the company. This classic phone features Apple’s highest resolution retina display for better viewing of dazzling images, videos and text.

The device comes with the iOS 4 version which features Multitasking, Folders, enhanced Mail and deeper Enterprise support. Users can keep themselves inclined with Apple’s new iAd app for mobile advertising platform. The phone is powered by Apple’s A4 processor.

Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, stated, “This is the most successful product launch in Apple’s history,” and added, “Even so, we apologize to those customers who were turned away because we did not have enough supply.”

A stunning 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and HD 720p video recording appear to make this phone a unique handset to purchase. It is said to be the thinnest smartphone with a ravishing glass and stainless steel body. With 3-axis gyro, this handset also features FaceTime for effortless video calling.

The iPhone 4 can be purchased at a price of $199 for 16GB and $299 for 32GB model in U.S. from Apple, AT&T, Best Buy, Radio Shack and Wal-Mart stores. The phone is currently available in U.K, France, Germany and Japan. Plans are being made to launch it in 18 more countries by the end of July.
