Google certainly knows how to constantly keep fans engaged with its ever evolving services and its latest upgrade to the web version of the Android Market user reviews tells us the same. With the small yet fairly useful tweak to the website, customers can sort reviews on the basis of categories like versions of the app, devices from which they were submitted, helpfulness, and more.
Firstly, the small tab over the list of reviews offers an option to check out comments for either the latest edition of the application or all versions till date. The tab just besides it categorizes feedback on the basis of what device they were submitted from. So if a certain user wants to know how well the app works on the Galaxy S II, there is no need to surf through people talking about it working on other devices.
The drop down tab offers a list of devices gadgets only if users are signed in. Also, it does not seem to have rolled out in all regions. Other than this, classifications like helpfulness, rating, and newest are also available now, reports Mashable.
When it first took shape, the market meant to purchase applications for Android devices had a pretty simple interface. But it was gradually seen making efforts to become more intuitive and interactive, which was sure to draw more users. Its most recent achievement serves as ample evidence. A few days ago, Google proudly announced 10 billion downloads on the Android Market and celebrated it by offering select apps for a dime. This obviously has to do with increased adoption of the mobile platform too.
The Android Market user review update can currently be accessed only through the web version. It is expected to be adapted to handheld Android devices soon.
