Android-based Xperia X8 to hit markets in September through O2

Xperia X8 Sony Ericsson’s X series of smartphones enticed users with its exclusive features. The company now adds yet another handset in the series namely, the Xperia X8. Based on Google’s Android platform, this device is all set to hit shelves this coming September through O2. With this handset, users can enjoy easy-to-use features for on-the-go entertainment.

The phone comes packed with a 3” full touchscreen for better viewing of images and content. The user interface seamlessly resembles the Xperia X10 Mini. Users can capture their favorite moments with a 3.2 megapixel camera. The four-corner touch enables them to access their favorite applications on fingertips.

The handset features Timescape which syncs all the communication with friends together in a single place. For entertainment, users can download thousands of applications from the Android Market. Besides, the device comes packed with exchangeable back covers in white and aqua blue colors.
