Amazon Cloud Player for Android augments mobile experience

Amazon Logo We last penned down an article about Amazon when it released Test Drive for Android apps. The company has now announced the launch of Amazon Cloud Player for Android. Users can conveniently save music in the cloud and play it on their Android devices while on the go.

The Cloud Player for Android is incorporated into the latest version of the Amazon MP3 application. It comes along with the complete Amazon MP3 Store and the mobile version of Cloud Player. Handset owners can effortlessly use the app to play their peppy tunes stored on the Cloud Drive and on the device.

“We’re excited to take this leap forward in the digital experience. The launch of Cloud Drive, Cloud Player for Web and Cloud Player for Android eliminates the need for constant software updates as well as the use of thumb drives and cables to move and manage music,” commented Bill Carr, vice president of Movies and Music at Amazon.

Users can enhance their experience with advanced functionalities like the ability to search and browse by artist, album or song. In addition, individuals can create playlists and download music from Cloud Drive.

The Cloud Player for Android application can be downloaded for free.
