Expanding the range of entry level mobile phones, Alcatel introduces two new mobile phones namely the OT-707 and OT-800. The first one is the company’s first touchscreen phone whereas the latter one is its first phone to feature a full QWERTY keypad.

The Alcatel OT-707 phone boasts of a 2.3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 240 x 320 pixels and 262K colors. The phone integrates a 1.3 megapixel camera and supports dual band GSM and GPRS connectivity. It incorporates a FM radio that will keep users in tune with latest songs and a music player for entertainment.

The OT-707 phone equips an internal memory of 10MB and supports expansion upto 2GB via microSD card slot. It supports Bluetooth connectivity that allows users to share data in wireless mode. The phone is capable of delivering a standby time of upto 350 hours and a talktime of upto 8 hours.

Boasting of a full QWERTY keypad, the Alcatel OT-800 phone features a display screen with 320 x 240 pixels. It incorporates a 1.3 megapixel camera and supports Opera Mini. The phone supports Tri band, GSM and GPRS connectivity. The OT-800 phone also features a FM Radio with RDS support.

While there is no information about the availability of both the phones, the OT-707 and OT-800 phone are expected to be available for $126 and $120 respectively.
