Following its official launch in India a few days ago, the Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ has finally been made available via Flipkart, as promised. Just like the three popular Motorola devices which are sold exclusively by the e-commerce website, this handset too won’t be available anywhere else.
This means, its Rs 16,999 price tag cannot be expected to change anytime soon as it is usually competition among the retailers that forces them to reduce the asking amounts of their products. Alcatel has equipped the One Touch Idol X+ with a range of interesting features that had grabbed quite some attention when it was first unveiled to the world at this year’s CES.
Its main highlight is its 2GHz octa core processor. Moreover, One Touch Idol X+ kicks in a 5-inch full HD display as well, aside from 2GB worth of RAM, dual SIM slots, a 13MP rear camera, a 2MP front-facing shooter and other advanced offerings. As far as storage goes, the One Touch Idol X+ grabs 16GB of space and there’s no microSD card slot for further expansions.
