Alarm.com has added two new applications for the BlackBerry and the iPhone devices. The advanced features of these applications allow them to go beyond the conventional style of alarm reporting.

With these applications, users can instantaneously arm and disarm their security systems even if they are far-off. Users will not a miss a thing as these applications record footage of whatever happens while they were not present. They can also keep a track on the activities happening at their home or workplace using these applications. Additionally, customers can have a record of all events reported by the security system. This includes occurrences taken place during power failures, alarm alerts, doors and windows opening, motion activity and water leaks. So, consumers can be well posted about anything that happens at their property in real time.

Alison Slavin, Alarm.com’s VP of Product Management commented, “In developing the Alarm.com mobile apps for iPhone and BlackBerry, we focused on making it easy for consumers to monitor and control their security systems using devices they already understand and carry with them all the time. We’re excited to provide our Dealers another powerful technology differentiator that will help them better serve their customers and beat out the competition.”
