The service is called Night Store, because the special plans are valid in the wee hours past midnight when some of us just start socializing from the comfort of our desk or bed.
Airtel customers can access Night Store and sign up for the unlimited usage packs in three different ways. They can dial *129# to get the USSD code running or call 129 or even go to m.airtel.in/night from their mobile device. 7 offers are up for the taking as part of the new scheme and it includes a free package too.
First off, these Night Store packs only have benefits if you’re in the habit of calling people or accessing the internet or data-centered apps on your handset between the 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. time-frame. If Facebook is all you want, then Airtel is delivering access to the social network on your mobile for free.
There’s a Rs 49 scheme which bundles in 1GB of data at 3G speeds. If your web surfing needs are on the lighter side, the next one is a Rs 29 deal that gives you 500MB of 3G data. By coughing up Rs 7 from your recharge balance, you can make unlimited Airtel-to-Airtel calls without shedding another extra rupee.
