A variety of simple and affordable data plans have been planned by the telecom operator for Odisha, with the cheapest one among them having been priced at just Rs 27. Airtel’s announcement comes right on the heels of Vodafone’s release of its 3G services in the same Indian state late in November.

It is currently offering its high-speed Internet to both postpaid as well as prepaid customers. While the postpaid plans on Vodafone start from monthly rentals of Rs 150 for 50MB, they go up to Rs 850 for 5GB of data. The least expensive plan offered by the carrier is priced at Rs 27, just like Airtel’s cheapest plan, and it offers 90MB data for three days.
