Acer has launched the Liquid E700 and Liquid Jade after taking a rather long break from the Indian smartphone market. The new handsets will be sold as affordable choices since that’s what mostly works in the country and they have been priced at Rs 11999 and above.
The Acer Liquid Jade smartphone was originally launched back in June and it has gone on sale in multiple locations around the globe. Unlike these models, the one made available in India will be slightly better specifications. The handset has been designed with 2GB of RAM which is an entire gigabyte more and 16GB of storage instead of 8GB.
The phone also has a microSD card slot and it’s powered by a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek processor. Visuals are delivered via a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display and Android 4.4 KitKat runs the show. Additionally, the smartphone has a 2MP front camera, a 13MP rear snapper, dual SIM support, 3G HSPA connectivity and a 2100mAh battery which can deliver around 5 hours of talk time.

The Acer device is pretty light as well, weighing just 110 grams. Coming to the Liquid E700, this handset is quite a unique one. While the majority of its features are similar to what you’d find in most budget phones on the market, it has one distinct feature which is triple SIM support.
