Pioneer AppRadio application for iPhone offers enhanced features

The smartphone has pretty much changed the way we stay connected. The Pioneer AppRadio announced recently appears to take iPhone usability with automobiles to an all-together new level It is an in-vehicle product that uses the storage capacity, network connectivity, processing power and apps of the iPhone for its main entertainment and information sources.

It features a capacitive touchscreen modeled in 6.1″ size specially for safer in-vehicle operation and also allows controlling motion gestures and functions by touch. It is endowed with a back-up rear camera input as well as built-in Bluetooth that enables calls to be made without the usage of hands.

Furthermore, this app allows admission to the iPhone’s Calendar, Contacts and Photos apps. Through the Contacts application, users can immediately send their current location through e-mail and gain direct access to stored contact data for hands-free calling by way of Bluetooth. While Calendar shows the events and calendar information, users can look at slide shows, pictures, videos and geotagged photos taken from an iPhone 4 through Photos.

This new application is adaptable with other apps such as Inrix, Traffic, Pandora internet radio, Motion X-GPS Drive, music library and Google maps. AppRadio users will be instantly notified of new applications that will be added in the future to the apps library.
