The Vivo Y51 has been spotted on the company’s China website, just a day after the company launched its high-end X6 and X6 Plus handsets. The more modest offering doesn’t have its price or availability details listed on the page yet.

Diving into its specs, the 4G-capable Vivo Y51 runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with a layer of FunTouch OS sprinkled on top. It gets its motor running through a 2350mAh battery and a quad-core 64-bit 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor working in collaboration with an Adreno 306 GPU.

On the memory front, the dual-SIM Vivo smartphone packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Users can add up to 128GB of extra storage through a microSD card slot in case they run out of space. They can shoot photos and videos through an 8MP main camera with LED flash, alongside a 5MP front-facing one.

The Y51 sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 540 x 960p. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS. The device is compatible with the 2300MHz and 1800MHz bands, which are used to offer 4G connectivity in India. It measures 143.8 x 71.7 x 7.52mm in terms of dimensions and weighs 157g.
