The Pantel Penta T-Pad WS802X has been launched in India and is now retailing exclusively via HomeShop18 for Rs 5499. The tablet is the 1st offering by the company to run on the Windows 10 OS.
The 3G-ready Pantel Penta T-Pad WS802X sports an 8-inch IPS display showcasing a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. In terms of memory, it packs 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Users can add up to 64GB of extra space via a microSD card slot. Under the hood, a 1.3GHz Intel Atom quad-core processor powers the daily processes of the device with the support of Intel HD Graphics.
Coming to its camera capabilities, the Penta T-Pad WS802X houses a 2MP camera on both its front and rear surfaces. It derives its fuel from a 4000mAh battery. As far as connectivity options go, the tablet supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, microUSB 2.0 and USB OTG. India-based Pantel is additionally offering the device with a free Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
The launch of the gadget comes a month after the manufacturer launched the Penta T-Pad WS802Q 3G priced at Rs 6999. It has similar features compared to the WS802X, except it runs on the Android 4.4.2 OS and comes with voice-calling support, 8GB of internal space, an 8MP main camera, and a 5MP front-facing lens.
