Xiaomi Mi 4i can now be bought in dark gray

As is being indicated by a teaser video released by the Chinese company, the Xiaomi Mi 4i smartphone which was promised more color options in India will finally be getting a dark gray version today. The firm will be making the official announcement via its social channels at 8pm today.

As you can see in the video down below, the teaser clip shows a white colored Xiaomi Mi 4i being turned black with the help of a magic marker. Another thing that can be observed is the mention of mi.com at the end of the video.

The white Mi 4i is being sold right now only through Flipkart in the form of the company’s trademark flash sales. But it seems as though the dark gray model is all set to become the first ever smartphone to be sold via the mi.com website in India.

The white variant of this Xiaomi handset will be going on sale yet again tomorrow at 2pm for only those who have registered for it beforehand. It features a 5-inch 1080p full HD display, and runs on a 1.7GHz octa core Snapdragon 615 processor. It carries on its rear surface a 13MP main camera, while its front face hosts a 5MP snapper.
