The Videocon Infinium Z45 Nova+ is yet another addition to the company’s unimpressive series of smartphones in India and it only costs Rs 4900. The handset comes packed with a quad core processor and a 5MP camera, though it disappoints in the software department by landing with the Android v4.4 KitKat OS instead of Lollipop.
The phone serves as successor to the Videocon Infinium Z45 Nova which was launched at Rs 4999 in late 2014. Both devices shares similar specs; but the chipsets beating at their cores arrive from different manufacturers. The new handset is powered by a quad core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The older one uses a quad core MediaTek SoC.
The Infinium Z45 Nova Plus features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. For those who worry about falling short of hoarding space, the company has also slipped in a microSD card slot for adding 32GB of additional storage. A 4.5-inch touchscreen with IPS technology and 854 x 480p resolution guards the front, along with a 2MP camera.

The back panel is given to a 5MP lens with auto focus, a BSI sensor and a LED flash unit. In keeping with the norm of two SIM cards in budget smartphones, this Videocon Infinium series device boasts of dual SIM capability too. It gets its steam from an 1800mAh battery and offers standard connectivity options like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
