The high profile Xiaomi Mi Band fitness device which was announced in India along with the fresh Mi 4i smartphone will be having its first ever flash sale in the country today. The device costs just Rs 999 which is extremely affordable as it is, but the first 1000 buyers will be able to snap it up for just Re 1 as part of an introductory offer.

There’s no word however regarding how many Xiaomi Mi Band devices will be doled out today in total. They will only be available only for registered buyers, and unlike the online smartphone sales of the Chinese company which are usually held on third-party e-retail websites, this one will be taking place on its own portal, Mi.com/in.

The Mi Band was a hot discussion when it was unveiled to the world back in July last year. This wearable fitness tracker can be worn on your arm or your neck and be used with the official MiBand app. It can be connected to Android smartphones using Bluetooth to deliver vital fitness information using its internal components.
