Xiaomi Mi 4, Redmi Note 4G start being sold via The Mobile Store outlets

It has been confirmed that both the Xiaomi Mi 4 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G will now be sold through The Mobile Store in India, allowing eager buyers to purchase them easily. With the decision to sell its smartphones via brick-and-mortar outlets, the Chinese company has finally given up its much touted online-only sales model.

Fans will remember that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G has already been sold through Airtel’s physical stores in the past, but that has been the only offline outing the company has ever made. After the new development, over 55 The Mobile Store outlets across the Delhi-NCR area will be found selling the two handsets from the company, according to The Economic Times.

Moreover, the two phones will be made available at these stores at the same prices that they are sold at online via Flipkart. The 16GB Xiaomi Mi 4 will be purchasable at Rs 19999, while the LTE-supporting Redmi Note 4G will set you back by Rs 9999. It has also been revealed that The Mobile Store outlets will from here on act as service centers for the repairs of the company’s products.

All this does not mean that the partnership of Xiaomi and Flipkart will be ending though. The famous online retail website will continue holding weekly flash sales for its newer models like the Redmi 2, and we’re guessing the slightly older smartphones will start being relegated to being sold through brick-and-mortar stores.

Xiaomi is moreover, also investing a lot of its attention into the Mi India store where is has started selling its accesses on its own. New products will keep being added to this online store to make it more diverse.
