Asus ZenFone 2 will land in India in Q2, ZenFone Zoom coming in Q3

The stylish Asus ZenFone 2 handset is sure to be much in demand in India whenever it arrives, though its maker doesn’t quite seem to be in a hurry to launch it in the country. The Taiwanese company has made it clear that the phone will be released here no sooner than Q2 of this year.

This means, you can expect it to arrive sometime between April and June, most probably as a Flipkart exclusive. News has also come to the fore that the unique ZenFone Zoom targeted towards smartphone photographers is to be made available in India during Q3 of 2015.

Asus India head Peter Chang, confirmed this recently to Business Today, but he failed to give any details on the exact release dates of these products, let alone their prices. He however added that the company’s newly unveiled ZenBook range of laptops will be outed in India by Q2, while the launch of the ZenWatch seems to have been delayed indefinitely.

It goes without saying that among all these products, the ZenFone 2 will be the most crucial one for the company, especially since its preceding range has been doing extremely well in India. The new smartphone benefits from a design overhaul and a host of enhanced specifications.
