The new Intex Aqua Y2 Remote has been equipped by its maker with an IR blaster, perhaps in a bid to make it stand out among other smartphones which are offered at a price point similar to what this one will be sold at. In exchange of just Rs 4390, you’ll be blessed with a handset that will enable you to control your TV, set-top box, DVD player and more without even touching their dedicated remote controls.
This phone comes pre-installed with the ZaZa Remote app that allows you to enter the model number of a particular product so that it can deliver the exact controls for it. The Intex Aqua Y2 Remote moreover, is a 3G smartphone which runs the Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
It has been fitted with a 4-inch IPS display that spews its visuals out with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. There’s a 1.2GHz dual core MediaTek MT6572 processor onboard the Aqua Y2 Remote as well, apart from 512MB worth of RAM to assist the CPU in its operations.

Intex has even blessed this dual SIM handset with a 5MP rear camera with an LED flash. Its front is adorned by a 2MP snapper, while the phone’s power management is handheld by a 1500mAh battery pack.
