In case you felt that the CES 2015 means a dry spell for the Indian market, the Samsung Galaxy E5, Galaxy E7, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 have hit the country. Their price tags are pegged at Rs 19300, Rs 23000, Rs 25500 and Rs 20500, respectively.

The Samsung Galaxy E5 and Galaxy E7 are being marketed as selfie phones for the budget-minded. The problem is that too manufacturers are offering the same and even better specifications at the amount they demand. At any rate, if you’re a stickler for brand names, then these two aren’t too bad.

Both Android KitKat handsets embed quad core processors clocked at a speed of 1.2GHz, integrate up to 16GB of internal memory and offer up to 64GB of microSD card support. Staying true to their functionality, each has a 5MP front-facing camera with a wide angle lens and several features intended for selfie lovers, except for flash.

The Galaxy E7 has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, 2GB RAM, a 13MP main lens, 3G support, Android KitKat and a 2950mAh battery. The Galaxy E5 flaunts a 5-inch display, 1.5GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera, 3G connectivity and a 2400mAh power house. Sporting very similar exteriors, they are being sold in four color choices of black, brown, white or blue.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 runs on Android 4.4 and has a 4.5-inch qHD touchscreen, a 1.2GHz quad core chip, 1GB RAM, 64GB microSD card support, 16GB ROM, 8MP and 5MP cameras as well as a 1900mAh battery. The Galaxy A5 shares similar properties by includes a 13MP main camera, 2GB of RAM and a 2300mAh cell, to justify its higher cost.
