Apple Pay will be outed this week, says new rumor

Apple Pay which is an NFC and Touch ID-based mobile wallet service, is very close to launch seeing as the company has begun training its customer care executives and authorized retailers on how it functions. New details have emerged on the involved setup and transaction processes for iPhone 6 variants owned by users and those in Apple outlets.

Now we do know that the tech giant is holding a special event on October 16. There are speculations that Apple Pay will be unveiled along with two new iPad models, a 27-inch iMac featuring an ultra HD resolution Retina display and OS X Yosemite. This may be why a compulsory training session of 1 hour has been forced upon Apple Store employees.

The Apple mobile wallet solution can be kick-started by going to the Passbook & Apple Pay tab in settings or through the initial iOS 8 setup procedure. Users will be able to add 8 credit or debit cards to their account. There won’t be any need to make note of the expiry date of these cards since the software will keep them up-to-date so you don’t need to re-enter any information.

In order for its NFC-based service to be a success, Apple had to ensure wholesome ties with participating banks and credit card companies were forged in time. The relationships look healthy enough as they stand considering that each credit or debit card connected to Apple Pay arrives with an accompanying app, optional push notifications, the facility for users to contact their bank and more.

9to5Mac who leaked said story, says that the company will be using NFC-enabled EasyPay sleds to carry out Apple Pay transactions throughout its retail stores. Its promotional efforts for the mobile wallet service are expected to highlight ease of use and security above all else.
