We don’t know about you, but we’re always uncomfortable around postpaid plans like this Vodafone Red launch which has been rolled out for retail and enterprise customers. The thought of signing up for a service that leaves us guessing about what the final amount on our monthly phone bill will be sends shivers down our spines.
Would we be more attracted to such schemes if they were dressed up in Vodafone Red, you ask us? We don’t know, but here are the details for all of you out there who fear not those monthly bills. The aforesaid plans have been let loose by the telecom company with the very intention of getting more postpaid subscribers.
The Vodafone schemes deliver pricing options of Rs 499, Rs 899, Rs 1299 and Rs 1599. The first scheme bundles in 1000 local or STD minutes, 500 local or national text messages and 500MB internet data. The second tariff offers 2000 STD or local voice minutes, 2GB of data and 1000 national or local SMSes.
Rs 1299 grants you 3GB data, 1500 local or national texts and 4000 STD or local minutes. The Rs 1599 plan holds 5GB of data, 2000 national or local messages and 6000 voice minutes with regards to local or STD calls. Red4Business packages are available at Rs 666, Rs 999, Rs 1599 and more.

Enterprise customers are being lured with deals such as free calling between preset groups such as employees only. Customers will be given Vodafone numbers, calling minutes and data which come packed in with the plan in question. Regular subscribers can go for a common bill for all family members, pooling minutes or data and so on.
Vodafone Red users will also be supported by loyalty programs, dedicated relationship managers and easy billing among other things, says the telecom company.
