LG G Watch officially outed in India along with G3 smartphone

Although Google had started selling the LG G Watch in India immediately after its I/O showcase, the Android Wear smartwatch wasn’t given a formal induction ceremony in the country by its South Korean manufacturer. That changed today when the Android Wear smartwatch was unveiled alongside the much awaited G3 smartphone.

Attendees of this showcase event were also given some hands-on time with the device. And that’s not all; a new offer was announced for it by the company as well. Under this, every consumer who buys the LG G3 smartphone will be granted a Rs 5000 discount on the G Watch.

The new G3 handset which made its debut in India today features a QHD display which provides it with a pixel density count of 538ppi. It gains steam from a quad core Snapdragon 801 processor and proffers the Android 4.4 KitKat OS.

The LG G Watch on the other hand, runs the Android Wear platform and displays vital Google Now information on your wrist. You can control it via touch or by voice. Apart from LG, even Samsung and Motorola have unveiled their respective products running Google’s new wearable platform.
