Nokia introduces X2 Dual SIM with 4.3-inch display

Nokia X2 dual SIM is what Microsoft is calling the first of its next generation X series of smartphones running on a forked version of Android. The 4.3-inch handset looks like your typical mash-up of the Lumia, Asha and X and now sports a Home option beside the Back button.

The Nokia X, X+ and XL don’t have a Home key and Microsoft hints that these three are incompatible with the Nokia X platform 2.0 update because of this. The new smartphone also happens to have higher RAM than the exiting trio and a more powerful Snapdragon SoC with a dual core 1.2GHz Cortex A7 processor.

This smartphone embeds two SIM card slots in keeping with the times and has HSPA+ network support. It makes do with 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal memory. Should you run out of memory in the process of stuffing it with music, apps from Nokia Store or third-party sources, videos and what not, there’s a microSD card slot adding up to 32GB of extra space.
