Among the heap of budget-based smartphone offerings available in India, the Swipe Konnect 5.0 fablet has been pushed in for your consideration at a price of Rs 8,999. This new device comes equipped with a quad core processor and as its name suggests, grabs a 5-inch display on its front surface.
Running on the outdated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, it exhibits its visuals in a 540 x 960 pixel resolution. The above mentioned quad core processor on the Swipe Konnect 5.0 has been clocked at 1.3GHz and is accompanied by a 1GB RAM module.
On its rear surface, the Konnect 5.0 houses an 8MP camera that’s placed alongside a an LED flash. Moreover, on its front the Konnect 5.0 houses a 3.2MP webcam as well. While 8GB worth of storage is available by default, it can be further expanded up to 32GB with the help of its microSD card slot.
This Swipe device measures 148mm x 74mm x 8.9mm and it tips the scales at 135gms. Occupying space inside this shell along with other components is a 1950mAh polymer-ion battery. Its maker has revealed that the Konnect 5.0 will be sold bundled with a free screen guard, flip cover and premium business navigator.

Through its announcement, Swipe has also disclosed that it has become the beneficiary of a funding deal valued at Rs. 30 crore thanks to Kalaari Capital. This is probably what has propelled it to plan 10 new devices to be released in India under the Konnect series by the coming quarter.
