Flipkart brings Moto E back in stock [Update: They’re all gone]

The Moto E smartphone which has sold out twice in India is back for round three and hopefully, this time there will enough units for everyone. Flipkart hasn’t official announced the arrival of new stock and there’s no mention of how many units it has to offer this time.

Flipkart has started sending out emails to those who have registered to be informed when the smartphone comes back in stock. Both black and white models are available for the same alluring price of Rs 6,999. Previously, the retailer announced that it had 20,000 units for sale and just moments after it put the phone up for grabs, the website experienced technical issues and was down for a few hours. The entire inventory got sold out around an hour after services were resumed.

Multiple local OEMs have launched their own smartphones with Android 4.4 KitKat to compete with the Moto E. Micromax has two handsets, the Canvas Engage and the Unite 2, Lava has its Iris X1 and Xolo recently launched the Q600s, all retailing for under Rs 8,000. The smartphone in question is promised to receive quick updates to the latest Android releases and it offers pretty decent features for the price being asked.
