Twitter photo collages reach Android and web versions finally

An iOS luxury prior to this, the ability to make photo collages by inserting up to four images in a single tweet has at last made its way to the Android and web versions of Twitter. These photographs can also be edited before they are uploaded.

When Twitter had announced the introduction of photo-tagging back in March this year, it had made the collage feature available only for iOS users. It had however promised that it will make its way to the site’s Android and web interfaces in the future.

All you need to do in order to upload multiple images in a tweet is tap the photo icon within the app and select up to four shots. Once the final one is selected, you are provided with the option to edit each of these pictures. And then, you can tweet them so that they appear in your followers’ timelines in the manner you can see in the image below.

Twitter’s photo-tagging attribute works similar to Facebook’s and allows you to tag up to ten people in a single photograph. Recently, the site also rolled out the ability to mute desired accounts, so that they don’t litter your timelines. This means you can block a particular user without actually unfollowing them.
