Just how does the HTC M8 Prime which is supposed to be an even better version of the all new HTC One M8 flapship make any sense to anyone? You did hear us note that the plain old M8 is the company’s flagship smartphone, right? A recent @evleaks tweet has hinted that another variant of the 5-inch handset is expected to make its debut in the future, but does not provide us with any further details.
Why would any company not make its signature handset it’s best one ever, is a puzzle. Sure, Samsung disappointed us by sticking to the cheap plastic look for its Galaxy S5 and then hit us with a video of the phone with a gaudy, crystal-embedded back plate (as seen in the YouTube clip posted below). We really hope HTC won’t be following suit too.
The HTC One M8 is already made from metal, meaning a more premium material like platinum is the only thing that can make an M8 Prime look better. Of course, the price tag would appear uglier in comparison though. One feature that really stinks about the current smartphone is its 5MP UltraPixel camera and we’re hoping the rumored device will carry a better lens.
Forget the Ace. What y'all are really waiting for is codenamed M8 Prime. [comments: http://t.co/XvFgRppiFI]

Or maybe the HTC M8 Prime will be an awesome tablet with voice calling capabilities? Wow, we just realized how low-end that sounded the moment we finished saying it. Let’s wait and watch.
